Hunter tight black pants. I could see the contours of his strong, thick thighs. My eyes trailed up he was wearing the gray shirt that I had stolen from him when he left. 

Hunter leaned against his motorcycle. He held bulky black helmet with an open face. When I looked up at his eyes, I saw the smile there. 

“No. No way,” I stuttered and backed away from him. While my tone was light, a touch of fear and excitement rushed through me. 

“Yes,” Hunter moved quickly and stood in front of me in the matter of seconds. 

“This is pay back, isn’t it?” 

“I thought all girls had a motorcycle fetish? Hoping for that bad boy with a bike,” Hunter said with a half-smile. He was enjoying this entirely too much. 

“No, most girls are stupid and don’t realize those things are death traps. And I shudder to think how many bugs will meet their untimely demise in my mouth!” 

Hunter raised his eyebrows at me and held the helmet hovering over my head. 

“You’re part wolf and you’re with me. I’m your mate. I’d never do anything that would put you in danger.” 

“Fine,” I grumbled. “Still doesn’t solve the bug problem.” 

Hunter placed the bulky helmet on my head and moved to snap the clasp beneath my chin. I lifted my head up for him. When I looked into his eyes, I saw the contentment in them. His beard was trimmed. For me? How nice.  I watched as the lines in his face soften as he worked. 

“If you keep looking at me like that I’ll never finish.” 

His eyes flickered up to mine and a blush stole across my cheeks. I was paying too much attention to his lips and I forgot everything else. It felt silly, seeing how much time I’d spent with him, but butterflies took flight in my stomach. My nerves felt like they were on fire.

Becca Vincenza lives in wonderful Michigan. She has a love for Skittles, rainbows, Star Wars, and reading about hot men. When she's not wearing her author hat, she's working to pay off her student loans for her recently acquired English degree. She recently released the first book in her Rebirth Series and is set to release the second book before the beginning of summer.

          My heart feels like it’s about to beat right out of my chest. Tanner is looking at me like he’s not good enough to touch me and like he can’t keep his fucking hands off me all at the same time. I inhale deep, my breath shaky as I try to find the words to say. I want to talk about it more – about what she is to him, about when she’s coming and what I’m going to have to deal with – but right now all I can think about is how his hands feel on my waist, and how I wish he would touch every inch of my body with those hands.
          “Kiss me,” I breathe.
          Tanner doesn’t waste another second. His lips find mine, soft and gentle at first, but then a fire consumes us both and I’m biting his neck as he lifts me from my chair. He kisses down my collarbone and then back up to my ear, sending chills cascading down my arms and legs. I moan softly, running my fingers through his hair and tugging a little as I pull his lips back to mine. He slides his tongue between my lips and takes my mouth, deepening the kiss as his hands explore my body.
          “How long until dinner?” he pants between kisses.
          “Maybe twenty minutes.”
          “That’ll do,” he replies, carrying me to the couch.
          Tanner’s hands are hungry as he positions himself on top of me, pulling the straps of my tank top down to kiss my shoulders. He nips and sucks softly, trailing a line from my shoulders, to my neck, across my collar bone, and back again. Slowly, he kisses a little lower, sucking at the swell just above the hem of my top. I inhale sharply, my fingers gripping his hair.
          “You taste so sweet,” he mumbles against my skin, lighting it on fire. He lifts my shirt and slowly kisses down my stomach, stopping just above the hem of my shorts. He blazes a trail of fire with his tongue from one hip to the other, working the buttons and zipper until he has my shorts loose enough to pull down my shaking legs and throw across the room. He smiles up at me, his sexy half grin silently killing me, and then he completely takes my breath away – because he pulls my panties off with his teeth.
          With. His. Teeth.
          Suddenly, my heart is beating in my throat. I’m not a virgin, but I’m definitely no where near as experienced as Tanner, no matter how cocky my façade may be. My legs are shaking uncontrollably and I feel it start to move up to my hands. Tanner stops kissing my thighs and looks up at me, concern laden on his face.
          “Are you okay?” he asks, moving to position himself on top of me again. He brushes the hair from my face and pulls my shaking hand to his lips, kissing my fingers softly as he waits for me to reply.
          I nod, though not confidently. “I hate admitting this to you, but I’m not that experienced.”
          He smiles devilishly, his eyes lighting the fire in my stomach again. “You think I don’t know that? Why do you think I’m going so slow?”
          I let out of a puff of air, “This is slow?”
          His grin grows wider, “Trust me – if I had it my way, your ankles would have been on my shoulders the first night I saw you.”

Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa with her husband. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.

Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Review:

Main Characters 

I have to say I really enjoyed Grayson and Derrick. True they are flawed, but aren't we all? I was really rooting for Grayson to get out of the abusive relations with Josh. I wasn't really sure what to expect once she started going out with her sister Luna. (Who I love by the way and hope to hear more about her. Cough Cough Luna spin-off?) Grayson was trying to find herself and didn't always make the best decisions. Including unprotected sex. But I think if we were honest most of us have done things we've regretted in the morning. 

Derrick what to say about him? Definitely sexy but also very hard to read. I loved the chemistry between the two of them. Both trying to resist the pull but always ending up together. There was a lot of head games and hiding their true feelings. The storyline had me guessing the whole time. I could understand Derrick's hesitation in jumping in with two feet. There were times I'd like to strangle him and then he would do or say something that had me back on his side. 

Story Line

Now or Never is different and that's what I liked the best about it. The characters were not perfect and even though the story was wrapped up at the end it still left you wondering how they would be doing down the line. The emotions were real and the relationship was raw. Most books you read you think great story but not reality. Now or Never is realistic which is awesome. 

Overall

I would give this book full five stars. Because of the range of emotions the author pulled from me while I read. I finished this book in one setting and was left wanting more. A.J. Bennett is an author to watch. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

 My Review:

I enjoyed “Or Forever Hold Your Peace” very much. It was a bit hard to get into; the pace of the book starts off slow. But, it does pick up and is worth the wait that’s for sure!

There were so many characters in this book; it was almost hard to keep your head on straight. But, in no time you feel ultimately attached to the characters. The characters are some of the most true to life that I have read to date, so I definitely want to give the author a shout out for that.

You really learn from this book; you may think someone is your friend and you trust them with everything, but think twice because that is not always the case.

I do highly recommend this book; it was a great read once you get through the slow start.
